What Affects the Cost of Pizza Catering?

Number of guests

The biggest factor. Larger packages bring the cost per guest down, from around $33 per head for 30 guests to around $25 per head for 150 guests.

Length of service

Bigger packages include longer service times, so pizzas keep coming for the whole event rather than all at once.

Location

We're based in Melbourne's north. A call-out fee applies to locations more than 20 km from postcode 3059, including regional Victoria.

Day of the week

Saturdays are our busiest day and require a $1,500 minimum spend, unless your date is within 30 days. Weekday and Sunday events are a great way to make your budget go further.

Extras and dietary needs

Add-ons such as a charcuterie platter ($250, suits 25–30 guests), arancini ($4 each) and freshly piped cannoli ($6 each) let you turn pizza into a full Italian menu. Gluten-free bases are $5 extra each.

Is Pizza Catering Good Value?

For most events, yes. You get fresh food cooked in front of your guests, a relaxed buffet-style service and no cooking, cleaning or hiring of equipment for the host. It suits weddings, birthday parties, corporate events and backyard parties alike.

Do your prices include GST?

No. All package and add-on prices are listed excluding GST.

Is there a minimum spend?

Our smallest package starts at $990. Saturday bookings require a $1,500 minimum spend, unless your event date is within 30 days.

Is there a travel fee?

A call-out fee applies for locations more than 20 km from postcode 3059. We'll include it in your quote so there are no surprises.

Can I add extra pizzas on the day?

Yes. Extra pizzas are $25 each on the Classic and Deluxe packages and $20 each on the Grand, Feast and Banquet packages.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. We can cater for vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free and halal options on request. Gluten-free bases are an extra $5 each and are prepared in a shared kitchen, so they are not suitable for coeliacs.
